The Government of Saskatchewan has proclaimed October 15-21, 2017 as Education Week in Saskatchewan.

This year’s Education Week theme, Building our Future by Learning Together, highlights the role of education in building our future both as individuals and as a province. It also emphasizes the importance of a collaborative and inclusive approach to learning.

Building our Future by Learning Together reminds us that we should take pride in the achievements of our students, parents and educational professionals, while continuing to improve and build a positive future.

Building our Future by Learning Together

Apprendre ensemble pour bâtir notre avenir

Prince Albert Catholic Schools strives to provide a school environment where every child can successfully learn with their peers within the Catholic educational community.  The Board of Education would like to take this opportunity to commend each of the distinct school communities within the Catholic school division for their collaborative approach. The strong partnerships between home, school and parishes are evident and are contributing factors to the successes of students and staff throughout the educational process.

It is our hope that these strong partnerships grow into lifelong relationships as we prepare students for their future. It is important to acknowledge all the parents and staff for their combined effort and support that is provided to our students. The year ahead will be filled with exciting learning activities, social events, masses, celebrations and many academic undertakings that will enhance student progress.

The Board of Education is proud of the next three year strategic plans for 2017-2020. All of the stakeholder feedback was collected and taken in account as plans to provide the best learning experience were constructed. Students, parents, all staff, parish priests, School Community Councils and our bishop contributed to the planning and therefore are Building the Future by Learning Together!

Our schools are great places to learn and grow as we embrace the God-given gifts that each member brings to our Catholic educational community.  Best wishes to all of the students, staff and parents as the 2017 school year unfolds and may the richness and blessings of God be upon you.
