Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2020
To start off a new year, Christians are reminded to pray for each other. We are reminded of Jesus’ prayer for his disciples that “they may be one so that the world may believe” (John 17:21). All over the world, parishes have special prayers to celebrate the week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
The theme of the week of prayer in 2020 is showing kindness to others. We are reminded that God gives his love to us and asks that we share this love with others. By being kind, we show love in our words and actions.
The Prince Albert Catholic School Division will have intercom prayers that focus on showing kindness.

Prayer: Loving God, we pray for your loving kindness and for showing your light in times of darkness. Transform our lives so that we may be a blessing for others. Help us to live in unity as witnesses of your communion. Help us to show kindness in our words and actions. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
