Quality Catholic Education for Over 137 Years!

Welcome to the Prince Albert Catholic School Division! We are proud to serve students in and around the City of Prince Albert, continuing our tradition of quality Catholic education for over 137 years. Our division currently supports approximately 3,200 students from pre-kindergarten to grade 12, all committed to our mission of “Learning for Life through Catholic Education.”

Our schools are vibrant places where students can learn and grow in a nurturing, Christian environment. Here, education is experienced as part of a caring Catholic faith community, where faith and learning go hand in hand.

We offer a wide range of programs and services, including:

  • Kindergarten to Grade 12 in both English and French Immersion
  • Prekindergarten programs for three- and four-year-olds at St. John Community School, St. Michael Community School, St. Catherine Catholic School, École St. Anne School, St. Francis School, and at Holy Cross School, a English-French Bilingual Preschool for 3 to 5 Year olds

In addition to the provincial curriculum, our students have many opportunities to engage in a variety of curricular and extracurricular activities. Our students have many opportunities to engage in an ever-expanding array of curricular and extracurricular activities. We offer programs in performing arts, drama, and both elementary and high school band. Additionally, students can participate in a wide range of athletic opportunities at both the elementary and high school levels.

To adapt to the diverse needs of our high school students, we provide various program delivery models including in-person learning, online learning, and virtually enhanced learning. We also offer High-Performance Athletic Special Interest Programs for students pursuing advanced athletic training alongside their academic studies.

It is our hope that every student experiences success built on a strong sense of welcome and witness within the Prince Albert Catholic “family.”

We warmly welcome all new and returning students and families. To learn more about our schools, please contact your neighborhood Catholic school or our Catholic Education Centre at 306-953-7500. Visit our website at www.pacsd.ca. We would be delighted to talk with you!
