The aim of the Catholic School Division is to provide a quality education within a faith environment that focusses on Jesus Christ. Through the teaching and guidance of the Catholic Church, we strive to guide students in their physical, social, emotional, and spiritual development.
How do we express our faith?
- Our faith in Jesus Christ is expressed in the physical environment (prayer tables, crucifixes, bibles, rosary, etc.).
- Our schools follow the Catholic Church’s liturgical calendar and celebrate opening masses, feast days, advent, lent, and Easter celebrations, to name a few.
- Our schools focus on embracing the dignity of each person as a child of God.
- Our schools incorporate the Catholic Social Teachings by participating in many social justice projects each year.
- Our day begins with prayer and prayer is used for all special occasions.
- Our faith is permeated in each lesson, making connections to God and his love for us.
- Each year our school division embraces a spiritual theme. This theme guides our celebrations and the way we present different elements of our faith.
Our Catholic schools strive to be Christ-centered places where we embrace faith and learning. It is a place where the love of God and each other can be proclaimed.
Thank you for supporting Catholic education!
