Dear Parents and Students,

The Ministry of Education Interim Provincial Education Plans that were developed for the 2021-2022 school year are being extended to the 2022-23 school year. The plan was developed in order to coordinate a provincial response to the COVID-19 pandemic and will be implemented over the course of the 2022-23 school year.

The three areas of focus for the Interim Provincial Education Plans include:
1. Learning Response – Reading Interim Priority Plan
2. Mental Health and Well-being Interim Priority Plan
3. Learning Response Interim Priority Plan

Using the Provincial Plans, our School Division drafted Priority Action Plans in the following areas of focus:

1. School Division Level 2 Priority Action Plan: Catholic Faith Response
2. School Division Level 2 Priority Action Plan: Learning Response – Reading
3. School Division Level 2 Priority Action Plan: Supporting Mental Health and Well-Being
4. School Division Level 2 Priority Action Plan: Learning Response – Prekindergarten to Grade 12

As part of this process, the Prince Albert Catholic School Division is seeking feedback and constructive suggestions from our students, staff and families to shape plans for the 2022-2023 school year. Feedback from parents, staff and students will strengthen the Division’s Interim Priority Education Plan for our school division and the overall response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts.

When providing your feedback, it is important to have read over the School Division Level 2 Priority Action Plans located in draft on our website at www.pacsd.ca. Please keep in mind that the 2022-2023 Priority Action Plans include actions that will be taken at the school division level (in alignment with the Provincial Education priority plans) and will inform the priorities for School Learning Improvement Plans.

Thank you in advance for your consideration. The survey link will be open until 4:00 pm on March 31, 2022, and we will continue to review feedback as it is received.
