Month of May – Dedicated to the Mother of the Church
May is traditionally the time when we remember the Blessed Virgin Mary as our inspiration of faith. The example of her faith reminds us to be obedient to her son, Jesus. Through the rosary, we ask for her to offer prayers to Jesus for all of our spiritual and bodily needs.
In addition to the Rosary, here is a prayer that you may wish to pray to commemorate this special month.
O Loving God, who by the Resurrection of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, granted joy to the whole world; grant, we beg you, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, his Mother, we may attain the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ our Lord.
