Prince Albert Catholic Schools pays Tribute to Healthcare, Education Staff, Bus Drivers,
Essential Workers and Service Providers during Catholic Education Week!
May 9th to May 16th, 2021

Prince Albert Catholic Schools pay tribute to all staff, healthcare workers, essential workers, emergency services, frontline  workers, service providers, bus drivers and essential workers in our community during Catholic Education Week May 9th -15th, 2021! Each school will openly display their thanks by lining the fence lines and/or school windows with student art and messages of thanks.

Along with 3000 students from Prekindergarten to Grade 12 and 350 staff, the Board of Education would like highlight the efforts of those in our local community who are doing so much to support our students, staff and families during the pandemic.  Annually during Catholic Education Week, the Prince Albert Roman Catholic Separate School Division #6 Board of Education, selects and honors individuals who made significant contributions and positively impacted staff, student and Catholic  educational community.

In the year of the global pandemic, the Prince Albert Catholic Schools Board of Education would like to:

1. Celebrate all staff as honorary recipients of the Catholic Education Service Award as well as,
2. Acknowledge all healthcare workers, essential workers, emergency services, frontline workers, service providers, bus drivers and essential workers.

Board Chair Suzanne Stubbs highlights, “We are forever grateful for the commitment and dedication that these very special people in our community. They have persevered through the pandemic and supported our Catholic educational community so much. Whether it be, healthcare workers, service providers, our Bishop, clergy, teachers, support staff, religious, caretakers, administrators, SCC volunteers, bus drivers, frontline workers, students in the workforce, and all essential workers, our Board of Education is proud to be a part of this community! They have all done a tremendous job in serving us. They are inspirational
and nurture so much hope. May God bless them all!”

The theme of Catholic Education Week this year is “Nurturing Hope”. The school division can’t think of a better way than to symbolically thank all those who have nurtured hope to our community especially to our Catholic education community during the pandemic. Watch for student work on our school fences and windows to say “THANK YOU for Nurturing Hope” during Catholic Education Week!
