Prayer for the World Day of Consecrated life (Feb 2nd):
In early February we celebrate the World Day of Consecrated Life, the day we say a special prayer for all those who commit their lives to serving Jesus in a special way. During this time we pray for our Bishop, priests, deacons and all religious sisters for providing us with spiritual models of our faith. Let us pray together this special prayer for our Church leaders.
Loving God, thank you for all who responded to your call by committing their lives to serving the Church. We pray that you will bless the work of our bishop, priests, deacons and religious sisters. Strengthen them as they model the faith for us. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
