Re: In-Class Learning is Suspended Until September

Dear Students and Parent/Guardians of the Prince Albert Catholic School Division,

Deputy Premier, Education Minister Gordon Wyant has announced today that the in-class learning is suspended in Saskatchewan until September 2020. This announcement will guide our planning and decisions for the remainder of the school year for all students in the province of Saskatchewan. Our staff will continue to provide a Supplemental Curriculum Program for all students who want to remain engaged until the end of the school year.

With uncertain times, we are required  to take a health and safety approach to planning for the fall with strict adherence and alignment of the Public Health Orders. We are currently planning and preparing for the new school year with many variations in mind. It is important to note that all students who register with our school division for fall 2020 will and can be supported whether it is with distance learning or whether we are permitted to be physically attending schools.

We encourage all students to pre-register for the fall. Please monitor our website for updates regarding pre-registration and course selections for our high school students.  Our school buildings will remain closed; however our school phones are operational and staff will be happy to help you.

Any questions can also be directed to 953-7500 or email info@pacsd.ca. Thank you for your cooperation during this time and God bless.

Yours Sincerely,
L. Trumier,
Director of Education
