Dear Parent/Guardian(s),
Re: Update Regarding Testing Options and Thresholds for Changes to In-Class Learning
The Ministries of Health and Education have worked together to create a comprehensive package to help families and staff prepare for the beginning of school on September 8, 2020. The information has been released today to both parents and school divisions.
Please find the information posted on the www.saskatchewan.ca website or check out the link on our website at pacsd.ca.
The new information includes:
- Update to Safe School Plan
- Tips for Parents and Caregivers to Help Prepare their Children to Return to the Classroom
- COVID-19 Children and Masks
- Information for Parents: COVID-19 Testing Options and Processes
- Information for Parents: COVID-19 Notification and Illness in School
- Thresholds for Changes to In-Class Learning
This information will be extremely important for parents and guardians to read before the start of school. Parent/guardians are asked to ensure they are prepared for scenarios related to Outbreak Declarations or positive COVID-19 results. These situations may occur and may result in disruption of education processes for your child and family.
It is important to remember that no one is immune to communicable diseases. COVID-19 can impact anyone at any time. Be prepared and keep informed. Correspondence will continue to be provided to families via our website as information becomes available. Once school begins, communications can also be expected from school personnel as well.
Thank you for your understanding and support during this time. More information can be found on the sasktchewan.ca website or our school division website www.pacsd.ca.
Yours Sincerely,
L.Trumier
