Dear Parents/Guardians,

As per the Public Health Order announced Wednesday, November 25, 2020, all students will be required to wear masks tomorrow at school Friday, November 26, 2020. Effective midnight tonight, the Public Health Orders specify all students Prekindergarten to Grade 12 are required to wear a mask in school, at recess, in common areas and on busses.

The safety of our students and staff is our first priority. This requires us to continue to adjust as the cases of COVID-19 rise in our community. The Saskatchewan Health Authority, and other government agencies have made further changes in response to the current status of the pandemic requiring all children over the age of 2 to wear masks in public settings and schools effective midnight tonight.

The Prince Albert Catholic School Division will and must align to this protocol within our schools. Effective Friday, November 27, the requirement to wear a mask while at school will be extended to include Prekindergarten to grade 12 students.

Effective Friday, November 27, 2020 all students from Pre-K to Grade 12 will be required to wear a reusable cloth mask or disposable mask at school. If they do not have one or forget one, we will provide them with a disposable one. For further information on non-medical masks you can visit the Government of Canada website here Government of Canada Website or by googling “Government of Canada, non-medical masks.” We thank our families for their continued support as we continue to adjust to these challenging times. Sincerely,

L. Trumier
Director of Education
