Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in 2018
Your Right Hand, O Lord, Glorious in Power (Exodus 15:6) is the theme for celebrating the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in 2018. Christian Unity prayers are celebrated around the world. This week of prayer encourages Christians from all denominations to meet, pray, and celebrate various liturgical services. The importance of unity among Christians is emphasized during this week. Further resources are available at www.councilofchurches.ca.
The Prince Albert Catholic School Division will have intercom prayers that focus on unity. Each day will have a new theme. The themes are:
Monday: I was a stranger and you welcomed me (Matthew 25: 31-46)
Tuesday: No longer a stranger, but a friend
Wednesday: Hope and Healing
Thursday: Listen to the requests of the poor.
Friday: Building family in households and church
Please pray in unison with Christians and with us at the Prince Albert Catholic School Division. Here is a prayer that you may wish to pray with us:

Loving God, you call us to welcome the stranger in our midst. Help us live as brothers and sisters welcoming all in your name. Grant that all your children may be united in unity and be may be made one by the Holy Spirit to live in the abundance of your divine presence now and forever. Amen.
