World Day of Prayer
The World Day of Prayer is a global movement where Christians observe a common day of prayer. The World day of Prayer is observed the first Friday in March. On this day, Christians are invited to pray together.
The motto of the World Day of Prayer movement is Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action. The faithful are not only encouraged to pray, but to also to do acts of social justice to make our world a better place.

Loving God,
As a body of Christ, we pray for unity. Help us to work to unite our brothers and sisters so that the body of Christ may fully be present in our faith community. Inspire us, O Lord, that with our prayer comes a responsibility to make our world a better place. Open our eyes to the social action projects that will benefit our neighbourhoods, our community, and our world.
